Fontana House – apartment block with 240 apartments
TECHNICAL CONTENT
Fontana House is one of the most prominent buildings of Corvin Sétány. This is the first green residential investment in Hungary, using ground water for heating and cooling the apartments. The modern architectural features, a uniquely designed corner tower, the pierced facade and the unconventional use of wood, metal, textile and glass add up to a charismatic and dynamic building.
IMPLEMENTING
Our role in the project was to provide engineering and technical supervision in the final phase.
CURIOSITIES
Corvin Sétány is an internationally recognised and awarded site. It was granted the International Property Award Best Mixed Use Development Europe and ranked first on the Hungarian FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Award. In 2014, it was the first project recognised with the Urban Land Institute Global Awards for Excellence.
