Budapest Airport – Pier B
TECHNICAL CONTENT
The floor plan layout of the building is aligned with the existing building of T2. The passenger pier was implemented with one and a half-level. The design concept was developed in the spirit of transparency, simplicity and moderation. On the departure and arrival level, halls, embarkation bridges, commercial areas and toilets are taking place.
IMPLEMENTING
The project was executed in one and a half years. The first aircraft was served on the new pier on the 1st of August 2018. Due to the continuous expansion of the airport, it is a particularly important development.
CURIOSITIES
The passenger pier is just one item in the infrastructural development package that results in the continuous expansion of the Liszt Ferenc International Airport.
