TECHNICAL CONTENT

With the extension of the current – temporarily established – building of the Consulate General, approx. In 300 m2 of office space, it will be possible to create an event or multifunctional room in addition to the offices for consular tasks.

IMPLEMENTING

We were given the opportunity to perform planning supervision and technical inspection tasks related to the establishment of the Consulate General of Hungary in Gdansk. The building is under monument protection, which requires special professional competence, and in this case the regulations of local monument protection must also be taken into account.

CURIOSITIES

Gdansk is also referred to as one of the most popular Hanseatic cities in the Baltic Sea, the “Pearl of the North”. Here you will find, for example, the largest brick church in Europe and the oldest port loader crane. Tourists stroll again in the stunning old town. Among the city’s sights and outstanding monuments are, for example, the palace of the Brotherhood of the Knights of St. George, built in 1494, and the Neptune Fountain, a symbol of Gdansk. The location of the building is excellent as the city center is also close by and there are significant public institutions nearby. (Eg the building next door is the European Solidarity Center)
