TECHNICAL CONTENT
The Consulate General will be located in the bookstore occupying the ground floor and first floor of the Main Street Palace Wing (its estimated minimum space requirement is 350-400 m2), which means a complete interior design and security design with minor renovation / conversion works; while the additional leased units will continue to operate with existing tenants.
IMPLEMENTING
Consulate General of Hungary, performing planning control and engineering consulting tasks related to the complete renovation of the office building and residence of Kosice – Csáky-Dessewffy Palace.
CURIOSITIES
The building of the Csáky-Dessewffy Palace was built between 1805-07, formed by merging several medieval plots, on an area of 1727 m2. It consists of two buildings, the Main Street Palace (2265 m2) and a separate farm building (550 m2). The palace monument, which has largely preserved its original condition, is in good condition. In the Main Street Wing approx. There is a bookstore on an area of 540 m2, other areas are rented by various commercial and service units (eg wedding dressing room, dentist’s office, pizzeria, etc.).
