3E International Kft. is the proud holder of the certificate of merit of the Construction Industry Award for Excellence 2019 Committee in the category of industrial and energy structure. The certificate was awarded to our project management business for the management of the TNT logistics base project of the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport.
In keeping with the traditions, the Construction Industry Award for Excellence was announced by the National Federation of Hungarian Building Contractors in conjunction with eight additional building construction organisations. Buildings with a net value of HUF 100 million and an occupancy permit issued by the end of the previous year were eligible for entry into the award.
Criteria for judging the entries were as follows:
- overall architectural and technical assessment of the structure
- technical and technological standards and competency of the construction
- economic viability and operability
- collaboration between the creators of the structure, including in particular the investors, the designers and contractors.
3E International’s entry encompassed the logistics hall linking air and ground operations erected at the development area next to Terminal 1 of the Budapest National Airport and the three-storey office building serving it. The buildings were designed as free-standing structures to be able to handle morning and afternoon logistics peak times better.
