On the 21. of June, the 22.000 m2 GTC White House office building, located on Váci Street 47 was handed over on a spectacular ceremony. The main characteristic of this new office building is that the developer GTC Hungary has maintained the existing historical production hall and transformed it to a modern loft structure office building. Next to it a new office building has been built. The GTC White House was designed and constructed according to the LEED Gold certification. The green roof, the recycling of the rain-water and the most modern heat insulation system contirbuted to the reduction of the energy consumption of the building. In the newly built office building, among others BlackRock, the world’s largest financial management company will establish its european technology and innovation centre. The unique building has attracted the visitors and the invited guests. This attraction was enhanced by the celebratory speech by the Mayor of the 13th district. The Mayor has announced that GTC plans a new project with the name TWIST – Budapest City Tower which will obtain its building permit soon. So Budapest’s first “little skyscreaper” will be constructed with 90 meter building height and with unique design. The experts of 3E International Kft. have been involved in tasks of technical consultancy, tendering, cost controll and technical supervision of the White House office building.
