TECHNICAL CONTENT

The aim of the new headquarter developments at Richter’s Budapest site was to create a modern and sustainable infrastructure that simultaneously served Richter’s long-term strategic goals and the expectations of the 21st-century work environment. In addition to the renovation of office space, existing, well-utilized buildings were given a new function. Improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy is an important part of the company’s sustainability efforts, while placing great emphasis on creating an office environment that supports Richter culture and values.

IMPLEMENTING

The approximately 17,400 square meter complex, with a basement, ground floor plus six floors, was equipped with modern office space, which can accommodate 420 office workers, but also included a 120-person, divisible event room and a 150-person restaurant. as well as a snack bar. The underground garage has 74 new parking spaces and 60 bicycle racks, and 10 electric car charging stations have been built on the surface.

CURIOSITIES

The energy supply of the building is provided by environmentally friendly cooling and heating equipment that utilizes the heat of the ground. The building has been designed according to the strictest international standards, the so-called LEED gold certification.
